Storytelling is an ancient art, which we are all drawn to. It changes history. This is what your upcoming assessment task will be about. Collecting stories is just the beginning.
Before anything in the Bible was written down, people told stories about God and God's relationship with the people we now read about in the Bible. This stage of passing on stories by word of mouth is known as the "oral tradition."
Eventually, as human societies in the Near East began to develop forms of writing that were easy to learn and use (around 1800 B.C.), people began to write down the stories, songs (Psalms), and prophecies that would one day become a part of the Bible. These were written on papyrus, a paper-like material made from reeds, or on vellum, which was made from dried animal skins.

2) How do you know if his story IS true?

You are to create a PowerPoint Slide (using the Google Slide App) which provide answers to the questions above individually or in pairs. These presentations will be shared with the class on Monday. These presentations will be marked using a criteria which we will create together as a class. Your presentation may include images or even quotes from Anh to support your ideas.
