a) What materials did they use to build the house?
b) Describe the roofing. What shapes do you notice?
c) Did the houses of wealthy and poor people look the same? What were the similarities and differences?
d) How many rooms does a typical house have and what are the purposes of each room

Get Creative!
Using the supplies at the front of the room you are to sketch the house of a rich or poor family with the key design features. You are to label your two houses and include as much detail as possible. The best designs will be displayed in the classroom.
